4th eSports Betting WoW PvP Tournament: Let’s go to Round 2

After Panda Global actually managed to get the win against Team Grmbl in the first round, I wanted to continue to trust the secret tip and bet on the secret favorite again. So I placed a single bet on Panda Global in the second round, although opponent #Splyce was clearly the favorite, at least if you can believe the odds. Of course, I followed the match live again. Advantage of betting on a game you used to play yourself is that you can often identify with the players. I especially feel that way because I used to play WoW myself.

Of the four players on Team Panda Global, which consists of Death Knight, Windwalker, Shaman, and Druid, I personally watched spellbound as to how the Druid or the player behind the character performed, having played that very class myself for years. The underdog team harmonized perfectly with each other and the way they rejoiced with their fellow players when they won a round was simply great cinema! Unfortunately, Panda Global lost to Splyce in the end, but it was still a pleasure to watch this match.

Let's play another single bet to get in the mood

I placed my second single bet on Team Rocket: Eclipse, which was already very strong in the preliminary round. I had won the first bet on this team and since they were also considered the favorite in the second round according to the odds, I figured that wasn't wrong now. Sure enough, they won the second round as well.

Combi bet 2-combination at bet365 – this is how it works

Next, I placed a combination bet on the two Method teams. My reasoning for this combo bet was as follows: As a single bet, both teams had odds of 1.2 and 1.25, respectively, which were too low to be considered for the bonus rollover. However, if you place a combination bet, the odds increase to 1.5 and thus count towards the rollover. Since the Method teams were considered clear favorites and, as mentioned at the beginning, were already all too familiar to me from earlier, my choice for this bet was not difficult.

To place a combined bet, by the way, you mark the two winning tips of the teams you want to bet on and then select “Multiple bets” on the right in the betting slip. Now you have to select the option Double bets. Now the two winning tips have been combined with each other in a 2-way combo. The bet is only won if really both teams play exactly as predicted!

Now another risky 4-combination

As a beginner in the field of eSports, I like to try everything to also get a better understanding of betting in general, so I took a look at two more betting options.

The first of these is the 4-way combo. Just like the double bet, in this case you mark four betting tips and then click on multiple bet again. At the bottom you will find the option “4-combination”. I have chosen the three favorites (2x Method and Rocket: Eclipse) as well as the outsider Panda Global for my 4-way combination. This resulted in a total odds of 5.89, so this bet also counts towards the bonus rollover. Since I placed this bet more for fun and to get to know the game, I bet a very low amount of only 30 cents so that I wouldn't lose too much in case of doubt. In fact, what happened was that while the three favorites won their respective tournaments, Panda Global unfortunately lost. This means that the entire 4 player combo is considered lost.

System bets in eSports – this is how it works

My second “test bet” was a system bet. I bet on the four outsiders, simply because I wanted to watch it and because I would have won an enormous amount of money if I had won, because the combination odds were over 20.0 in each case. Of course, I didn't really believe in it, the individual odds just didn't support it, but it was worth a try. In the system bet, all four teams are combined, that is, you bet on the following combinations: 1/2/3, 1/2/4, 1/3/4 and 2/3/4. As I had already guessed, all combinations lost, so I lost this bet completely.

Interim bet365 Bonus Rollover

After all the bets I wanted to know again how my bonus rollover is, i.e. how much I have already converted and how much I still have to generate. To get an insight, click on “History” in your player profile. A pop-up window will open. In this window, click on “Offers” in the upper tab and then a little further down on “Bonus Transactions”.
