Alexandre #Taroco Reis Pedrogam, Robbie #delta Zager, and Alex #alraz Raczynski are building a new squad for the Winter Split after playing on three separate teams during the Fall Split.
While #delta and #alraz represented #Dignitas and Luminosity Gaming, respectively, #Taroco played for Rogue until he left the team prior to the Fall Invitational. It's possible that the squad will go by Luminosity Gaming, although it's not certain yet.
Meanwhile, Dark Zero Esports opted to reorganize the team that is centered around 4-time World Champion Pierre #Turbopolsa Silfver after entering the scene at the start of the 2022–23 #RLCS season. Before the start of the Winter Split, they will be adding Gwil #creamz Muir and Anthony #ZPS Marcello Perez.
Famous Trio Teaming Up
Since Taroco joined Rogue prior to the RLCS X Winter Split, he has been a member of the team for about two years. The Canadian competed in RLCS X during that time, winning two tournaments and placing in the top four of two Regional Majors.
Delta, a new teammate who joined Dignitas before the Fall Split, is leaving the organization after the group struggled to a 12th-place finish in the North American standings. Hunter #LionBlaze Woitas and Sukhpartik #Kinseh Kahlon, two former colleagues of former Luminosity Gaming player alraz, have joined M80.
Since Luminosity Gaming finished 0-3 in the Fall Open and was disqualified from the Fall Cup and Invitational, they only participated in one Regional during the Fall Split.
DarkZero Going Strong
DarkZero attempted to enter the RLCS by signing Turbopolsa after OpTic Gaming benched him prior to the 2021–22 Spring Split. They hoped that the most successful player in Rocket League history would help them achieve contending status in another esport after winning championships in Rainbow Six Siege and Apex Legends over the previous eight months.
Although the roster for the initial DarkZero RLCS team including Turbopolsa, Jacob #JPow Powell, and Kadin #Zineel Zineelabidine had top-eight potential on paper, they were unable to get past the preliminary rounds of any Main Events.
DarkZero's current lineup is obviously not working out, thus they have already started to rebuild their team. This includes hiring Mike #Gregan Ellis, an analyst nominated for an Esports Award and the coach of the Season 7 World Championship, as a coach and consultant.
DarkZero has added two new components they believe will help them establish themselves as a significant squad in North American Rocket League going forward with Turbopolsa as their foundation and Gregan directing their operations. These players are creamz, who was playing on Lil Step Bros and is a seasoned bubble player in North America, and ZPS, a veteran who most recently placed top-eight with Knights in the Fall Invitational.
