The founder of Team Vitality, Fabien #Neo Devide, spoke to various #Esports media sources a week before the 2023 LEC Winter Season to discuss how the staff had changed its #LEC roster and to discuss last year's difficulties.
He also stressed the importance of one of their imports to the team. In the off-season, South Korean rookie Photon took over as Aplhari's toplaner, and veteran LPL jungler Bo replaced South Korean player Haru.
The Plans for 2023
According to Neo, the jungler Bo will be the center of attention for the entire squad. He claimed that because of the “great promise he exhibited, it was mandatory that they build the entire strategy around him.”
The amount of respect Neo has for their new jungler is out of this world, since he even referred to him as a “anomaly” while praising his flawless technique.
When Team Vitality abruptly parted ways with Selfmade last Summer, they hired Bo as a replacement jungler. Bo was making his comeback from a break after being barred from the competitive League of Legends scene due to a match-fixing controversy.
He'll be the center of attention throughout the 2023 LEC Winter Season. Bo has only participated in five LPL games since being promoted from the Challenger League, and LPL imports are uncommon in the LEC.
Although Vitality had a really bad year in 2022, they are really hoping to turn things around by making the necessary adjustments and focusing their energy in the new direction. Parting ways with Haru was definitely not an easy thing to do, but time will tell if it was the right one.
Now that 2023 has officially started in terms of competition, it will be interesting to see their progress as months go by, and if they'll be able to surprise us even more than expected by reclaiming some of that old glory.
