Da Qiao – The Light of the Sea
The Jiangdong Qiao family, an ancient magic family, follows an intricate and oppressive ritual to uphold their magic lineage, which dates back to ancient times and is passed down from generation to generation. The first set of twin girls born in thousands of years, however, seemed to confirm the family tree's forecast that the Qiao family would eventually disintegrate—this was the most alarming coincidence.
The family's elders, who were terrified, made a callous choice to prepare the older sister to become the family's successor, while erasing the younger sister from the family tree and sending her to the Jixia academy for foster care.

Being one of the two surviving twins, Tai always gave off an impression of excessive power, which many thought was the result of some of his lost brother's power being transferred to him.
Burdened by the family legacy, Tai had to balance his whole life between two sides – his desire for adventure and freedom, and his duty to his home and tradition.
