#Outsiders have signed 18-year-old Aleksandr #KaiR0N Anashkin, who will replace #n0rb3r7 on the active roster. The announcement follows Outsiders' sad elimination from the BLAST Premier World Final in last place after winning the IEM Rio Major.
After some time of consideration, Outsiders decided they needed a change within their roster, so they acted immediately and landed one of the hottest players on the market.
Outsiders Mixing Things Up
Mareks #YEKINDAR Gainskis quit the team early last year as a result of the stress brought on by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and Timur #buster Tulepov was also benched to give the team time to look for “new ideas about the game.” One of the players brought in alongside Petr #famous Bolyshev to take the position of the duo was #n0rb3r7.
After a period of adjustment, the Russian team's performances started to improve, starting with ESL Pro League Season 16, where they managed to place 5-8th. This resulted in a shock victory at the IEM Rio Major and a brief period as the top team in the world.
They lost their position atop the world rankings before the year was out due to their poor performance at the BLAST Premier World Final.
According to Nikolai Petrossian, the CEO of Outsiders' parent organization, the aforementioned “humbling defeat in Abu Dhabi” was the impetus for the current change. He said that they “realized that the team needed changes that would allow us to stay true to our playstyle, while not letting opponents adapt to us.”
While he was on the bench, Petrossian continued, “n0rb3r7 is a brilliant player, which is why we don't put him out on a transfer list,” and Outsiders were “willing to entertain requests for a temporary loan.”
The young player #KaiR0N, who is joining the team, has already established himself as a rising star, as shown by recent bold predictions from #YEKINDAR and his new teammate Dzhami #Jame Ali.
In recent stays for INDE IRAE and Spirit Academy, where he averaged ratings of 1.14 and 1.22, respectively, the rifler had his highest ratings. At the end of 2021, he also made a brief appearance for the main Spirit roster, however his performance on the four maps he played at DreamHack Open November was lacking.
